Let me tell you something—if you gotta find a place for your mum and trust me, I love my mum… this is the place. Venvi Riverbend Retirement? More like Venvi River-best. From the second we walked in, it smelled like fresh cookies… or maybe that was just me imagining snacks, but either way—delicious vibes. The staff were so nice I almost thought they were trying to sell me something… but nope, they’re just that friendly, from Anmol, Liz, Stephanie, Carmela, Kike & all the rest. The place has everything and they’ve got activities for everything—games, social stuff, probably even napping competitions. My mum’s gonna be living it up like she’s on permanent vacation while I’m at home trying to figure out how the toaster works again. And the food? If it’s half as good as it smells, I might “visit” every day around dinner time. Purely for emotional support, of course. Bottom line: safe, cozy, friendly, and full of life. If my mum’s happy, I’m happy. And if I’m happy… I’m probably eating. Five donuts out of five. 🍩

Our Mother had a rather short stay at Riverbend on the third floor memory care unit. From the beginning all the staff made such an effort to get to know not only our mother but her family as well. From the moment we entered the front door we were greeted with a smile and so much positivity. All questions or concerns were dealt with immediately and with respect. A testament to the outstanding care is the fact that so many staff have been working at this facility for over 20 years. A heartfelt “Thank You” to everyone at Venvi Riverbend.

I recently toured Riverbend and found it to be a very nice place. The staff were friendly and caring. Liz Haskins has a genuine care and respect for the families and residents. She knew every resident’s name as we passed them by and also personal knowledge of their lives and the people that matter to them. The residence was very clean and inviting. I was impressed by the size of their studio suites as well. Thank you Liz for taking the time to meet with me and tour me around.
