  I’ve been seeing Kristen at Evolve Counselling for almost four years now, and and can’t speak highly enough of my experience. She’s by far the best counsellor I’ve ever had. She is understanding, supportive, and genuinely cares about her clients. Every session leaves me feeling seen and grounded. The space at Evolve is so warm and welcoming, and the staff are always friendly and kind. Evolve offers so many different services that it truly feels like a place where you can find everything you need for your mental health and growth. I’m so grateful for Evolve and for Kristen!

  I went to this practice a few years ago. The therapist I saw (Shannon) repeatedly tried to link my very real physical symptoms to trauma, insisting they were psychological. At the time, I was already being dismissed by doctors who could not find answers, and this therapist joined in on that same pattern of gaslighting. Since then, I have been diagnosed with multiple chronic illnesses that fully explain those symptoms. I do not recommend this practice to anyone with chronic illnesses or unexplained medical symptoms. Not everything shows up clearly in medical evaluations. Some conditions are rare, complex, or misunderstood. The last thing patients need is another professional invalidating their experiences.

  My children started coming at ages 10-13, and immediately built rapport with the staff so request to continue coming back for support when they need it. Recently my daughter came in visibly down and left visibly transformed, smiling and confident. She even attended an empowerment group, which was amazing. The atmosphere is welcoming, bright and comfortable. No issues with appointments or billing. As a parent, knowing the support is there for them is therapeutic on its own for me, knowing they are in good hands.
