  Behnaz has provided my wife and I easy-to-implement tools to help our sensitive child regulate her emotions, and to be honest, this helps us regulate our emotions. She would also bring resources to sessions that we could keep (rather that giving us the extra step of printing them off) - this was very helpful. She also one time brought some headbands for our child as part of the treatment, and we offered to pay for those. She has a home office on the lower east side and made two house calls to observe our routines. Highly recommend.

  Ms. Behnaz has a gift for working with students at all grade levels. She is also very skilled at working and collaborating with colleagues and parents. Many special and general education teachers use her knowledge and expertise to support handwriting and fine motor skills, self-regulatory skills, and sensory motor skills. Her recommended accommodations and/or modifications to classroom environments and/or assignments assist all students in accessing their educational environment and enhancing their school participation. Ms. Behnaz is knowledgeable, experienced, and well-informed on current occupational therapy practices. She can always assist parents and staff members in understanding what educationally related occupational therapy is. The knowledge and information she communicates in her related field are unparalleled. She is a leader in every sense and understands and sees the larger picture for her staff and students.
